The aim of the Senior's Program is to:
Provide support to seniors by assisting them through social and personal development activities;
Promote confidence, self-esteem and independence;
Link vulnerable older people to local services and social support networks;
Raise awareness of the needs and issues of seniors whilst breaking down the barriers of those who are socially isolated.

Several times a year a mystery trip is organized. These extremely popular events are much anticipated and seats fill quickly.
Past destinations have included a cruise on the Daintree, a visit to Herberton historic village, coffee plantations and local wineries.
Chat Line is for people 50 years and over who enjoy a bit of a yarn and talking with others. Fore one hour each Monday morning between 9.30am and 10.30am you can enjoy connecting with up to 10 people by telephone from the comfort of your own home; and it’s FREE.

Users of the Marlin Coast Neighbourhood Centre are asked to become financial members of the organization. To qualify for membership, a person should have a genuine interest and belief to promote, assist or participate in its activiites.

Membership Fee: $10.00 per year
Office Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm and Friday 9am to 12 noon
