First class facilities allow for use of the Centre by outside groups – from self-help and community groups to commercial concerns.
The main activity area accommodates up to 80 people in a theatre-style setting, which can be divided into two equal areas; the large back patio will comfortably accommodate up to 25 people.
The Centre is fully equipped with tables and chairs, and additional equipment such as data projector, DVD player and CD player are available on request.
Facilities also include a fully-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, urns and dishwasher.

Through funding from the Commonwealth Government’s Department of Social Services, the Centre is able to offer limited emergency relief to individuals and families experiencing financial crisis each Monday morning. Personal support is offered at no extra cost with information and referral when required. Community information about social, recreational, welfare and educational services and assistance with Government services and community-based agencies is also available.
Shed Mosaics is designed to bring people with likeminded interests together to share their inspiration, make new friends and learn new skills through the medium of mosaic art. Shed Mosaics is a group process for the community, and men and women of all ages are invited to participate.
Children’s Playtime takes place each Wednesday morning between 9.00 am and 11.30 am. These informal gatherings provide parents, carers and children with a relaxed and safe environment to meet, make friends, have fun and share experiences.
For just $2 per family you and the children can enjoy morning tea and access to toys and resources.
Through an initiative of the Australian Tax Office, the Centre offers a free tax help service to members of the community on limited income. The service runs from July to October and appointments are necessary.

Through the Commonwealth Government’s Broadband for Seniors initiative, the Centre has two internet kiosks available free of charge for use at any time during office hours. One on one instruction is available by appointment.

Users of the Marlin Coast Neighbourhood Centre are asked to become financial members of the organization. To qualify for membership, a person should have a genuine interest and belief to promote, assist or participate in its activiites.
